Speakers

Lindsy Friesen, MAC, LIMHP, earned her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 2006 from Hastings College. In 2011, she earned her Master of Arts in Counseling from Doane University. Lindsy is passionate about helping people discover their identity and freedom in Christ through professional counseling. She enjoys highlighting how God's word speaks specifically to our spiritual, mental, relational, and physical health. She weaves these truths into her work as individuals find healing and balance in each area of their lives. Her heart's desire is for everyone to know who they are in Christ and experience true, lasting freedom from the lies they believe. Lindsy deeply enjoys laughter and genuinely sharing her life to bless others. She lives a full and busy life as a wife and mother. Lindsy married her high school sweetheart, Matthew, and they have been married for 21 years. Together, they own and operate the family business Matthew's father started over 40 years ago. They are also blessed to raise three sharp arrows for the Lord: Katelyn (13), Molly (10), and Andrew (4).

​Emily Cantrell is a Jesus follower, wife, mother of two girls, and counselor. She has been in various roles in the mental health field for the last thirteen years, balancing her role as a counselor with motherhood. She graduated with her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Grace University and later obtained her Master’s Degree in Counseling from Denver Seminary.
The majority of her counseling experience was spent working with young women in a faith based residential program doing Biblical Counseling. Currently she works in private practice, having started her own counseling practice. Her passion for helping people see and understand their identity in Christ has driven her counseling in both the residential and outpatient spaces. She firmly believes that complete healing and freedom is possible through Jesus and is excited to share on the topic of identity in Christ in this new context!

Bible , water bottle, bedding, towels & washcloths, flashlight, toiletries, clothing, etc. 
(OPTIONAL:  Lawn Chair)

Elements of the weekend will also include:
Areas will be set up for you to enjoy intimate times of fellowship with your friends to catch up, scheme, dream, or whatever, as you enjoy a coffee bar set up just for us, so be sure to bring your lawn chair and join in the fellowship!

A Prayer room (located to the left of the stage in the Main building) 
will be available to use throughout the weekend.

GIFT BASKETS:
​We hope that every church would consider bringing a few Gift Baskets to be auctioned for our Missions project.

USED BOOKS: 
Have used books to get rid of?  As long as they are Christian books, not racey in nature please bring for inclusion in our auction for donation for Missions.

GARDEN PRODUCE:
Bring something from your garden to share with others.

SNACKS:
Have a special snack you want to share with others, bring it with you!

SPECIAL MUSIC:
We would like you to share during our Worship Time!  1 per service needed (3 total for the weekend.)
