Greetings from Pibel Bible Camp,

Anticipation
an - ti - ci - pa - tion  (anˌtisəˈpāSH(ə)n/)
Look up the word anticipation in a dictionary and you will come across an explanation similar to, "the action of anticipating something."  To anticipate something means "to look forward to, or expect."

No one could have "expected" 2020 to turn out the way it has.

Earlier in the year, camp leadership "anticipated" all camps to take place as planned.  HOWEVER, at this time, the decision has been made to CANCEL ALL camps.

Remember that the camp property is still open for you and your family to do primitive camping.  While the main buildings are closed, the bath house is available.  Space is limited and being made available via reservation through Kurt Olson @ 720-289-4321.

Please continue to pray for the camp's ministry.  For those that are comfortable gathering in masses, be looking for news and information about a day in the near future to complete a few more projects in anticipation for our 2021 season!

Two final thoughts to encourage us as we live out being the body of Christ and representatives of Christ in this world no matter where we find ourselves that come from scripture are...

Psalm 34:1, 18 (NASB95)
I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth.  The Lord is near to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit.

May we also be challenged by Paul's words to the believers in Colosse.
Colossians 4:6 (NASB95) Let your speech always be with grace, as though seasoned with salt, so that you will know how you should respond to each person.

We would like to thank you for your support of Pibel Bible Camp.  It’s your prayers, generosity, and involvement, and concern for others that will continue to make an eternal difference in the lives of others!

What is Pibel?
Pibel Bible Camp was founded in 1939 with the express purpose of helping the Church introduce people to Jesus and challenging them to become dedicated followers of Him. To accomplish its mission, Pibel provides facilities, quality programs of instruction, worship, fellowship, and recreation. Our campground is located about an hour north of Grand Island, NE.

This camp is supported and operated in partnership with Christian Churches and Churches of Christ from the Restoration Movement.
